The Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen Center for Thought & Culture would like you to join us for a private event to celebrate the opening of our latest art exhibit, Art Unites Us: The Healing Power of Beauty.  Meet artist,  Janet Hennessey Dilenschneider, and explore featured paintings designed to inspire hope and healing.

We live in increasingly polarized times, with divisions running so deep that any hope of restoring civility, let alone charity, seems a poet’s dream. But beauty beckons to our better angels and reminds us, through the hands of talented artists like Dilenschneider, that all is not lost; that, despite our differences, healing—within our national politics, within our local communities, and within our individual souls—can happen. At its best, an encounter with beautiful art can, to quote Pope Benedict, serve as an arrow that “strikes the heart and in this way opens our eyes;” to the true and the good in the world.

Exhibit Runs Through October 30, 2022
